Meet the Team

We created GC Gifts to help connect loved ones in their home, retirement village, or rehabilitation by sending connection boxes that support holistic wellbeing and provide a sense of purpose.

We're two sisters who grew up on the beautiful South Coast of NSW and are now based in the Illawarra and Sydney regions. Being fortunate to grow up with many grand loved ones in our life, we understand the importance of regular connection however often felt the pressures of life that made it challenging to connect regularly.

We finally leaped to start during the lockdown in 2021, when we felt the need to connect more regularly. It allowed us to work together on a project when we couldn't physically be together. The concept is driven by a love of beautiful Australian products (especially missing wandering the local markets), an interest in meeting passionate Australian suppliers, and being able to connect with loved ones in a regular and meaningful way. 

Anne, aka our wonderful Mum, is “Chief Advisor”. Anne, who is a qualified Diversional Therapist, has over 30 years of experience in the aged care sector and also inspired this project by sharing her observations and experiences of grand loved ones in care.

We're so excited to showcase Australian Products, look for opportunities to give back, connect generations, and share stories with this community over the coming months!
